"Tomato" is a female stray who wandered into a kind family's yard. She appears to be a pit and/or boxer mix. They took her to the vet and got her spayed. The vet said she was in good health but wasn’t able to give a specific age estimate. She appears to be an adult but not a senior dog. She does very well on walks, allows brushing, and even knows how to “shake.” She is generally very mild-mannered. She does not seem to interact well with other dogs, so she may do best as the only dog in the home. Or perhaps she would do well with a very dog-friendly neutered male. Aside from that, she has been very sweet and easygoing.
