O'Malley is a male grey tabby who needs a new home. He's neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. This is his current owner's description:
"We are looking for a loving home for a very sweet, neutered male cat who would really benefit from a quieter environment where he can receive more one-on-one attention. He is skittish and can take some time to feel comfortable, but once he feels safe, he is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loving. He has done well with another neutered male cat, so we believe he could be happy with one calm male companion. We are unsure how he would do with other females.
Unfortunately, he does not do well with our female cats. He becomes very insecure around them, which has led to some territorial marking in our home. We currently have multiple cats in our household, including a female who tends to bully him, and over time it has become clear that the environment is causing him a great deal of insecurity and territorial stress. We have worked extensively to address the issue and have ruled out a medical cause. Because of the dynamics between our cats, I believe O’Malley would have a much better chance of thriving in a calmer environment, ideally as the only cat or with one laid-back, neutered male companion.
We would absolutely keep him if he were comfortable with our other cats. We just want to find him a home where he can relax, feel safe, and get the individual love and attention he deserves."
