Mowgli is a striking, energetic sable panda German Shepherd with a heart as big as his drive to work. At around 4 years old, he’s in the prime of his life — full of curiosity, loyalty, and zest. He knows all his basic commands, is crate trained, and thrives in a structured, active environment. Also, he is neutered and up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention.
Mowgli gets along well with kids and cats, but he’ll need to be the only dog in the home — he prefers the spotlight and isn’t comfortable sharing space with other dogs. He has some mild allergies that are well-managed with a fish-based diet, monthly grooming and a few herbal supplements, and he’s been doing great with this routine.
This handsome boy is currently in a foster home, but with a baby on the way there, he’ll need a new forever (or long-term foster) home by July 1st. Mowgli would do best with someone experienced with shepherds or working breeds — someone who understands their intelligence, sensitivity, and need for mental and physical stimulation.
